Tequila Agave

Agave tequilana ‘Tequila Agave’

Agave tequilana is a fast-growing succulent that types huge rosettes of fleshy, blue, to silver-green leaves that transform red in full sunlight. The rosettes mature to 6 feet (1.2 m) long, approximately 4.8 inches (12 centimeters) broad and have light to dark brown marginal teeth and a sharp, brownish incurable back. After 5 to 8 years, the rosettes develop and also generate an up to 20 feet (6 m) tall flower stalk with 20 to 25 branches. Blossoms are green with purple stamens as well as show up in summertime. The rosette passes away after blooming, leaving offsets to proceed the life cycle.
