Graptopetalum (leatherpetal) is a plant category of the family members Crassulaceae. They are seasonal succulent plants and also belonging to Mexico and Arizona. They grow normally in a rosette. There are around 19 species in this genus. The name for the category originates from the Greek words “graptos”, indicating “significant” or “etched” and “petalon”, meaning “flowers” for the markings on the flower petals of much of the species. Their leaves differ in color from silver-grey to pink to ceraceous green and are usually multicolor. They all have thick leaves forming rosettes with star-shaped blossoms from white to pink on lengthy stems. They require great deals of sunlight to look their finest.
