Agave parryi truncata ‘Artichoke Agave’
Agave parryi var truncata is a succulent plant that develops tight rosettes of broad, brief, thick, silvery-blue leaves with obvious, reddish-brown teeth and an incurable spine. It is covered with a wonderful blooming spike that can rise to 15 feet (5 m) and also births thick clusters of yellow flowers, tinged orange in bud. The rosette passes away after flowering, however brand-new rosettes developed by offsets will root at the base of the mommy rosette to develop swarms.
