Echeveria pulvinata is an eye-catching shrubby succulent that matures to 12 inches (15 cm) high and stretches to numerous feet in size. The stems are tipped with little rosettes of thick, spathulate, green with all components largely covered with white hairs (similar to Echeveria setosa) which aid safeguard them from the rough rays of the sun. In late wintertime into spring (at some time later) shows up the arching, 1 foot (30 cm) high florescence holding racemes of yellow and also orange, bell-shaped flowers.
