Succulent plants don’t require a lot of water. In fact, one of the greatest risks that succulent owners face is that of overwatering. If you do wind up giving your succulents a bit too much moisture, don’t panic. There may still be some steps you can take to save it:
- Remove the plant from the pot and get rid of all wet soil from the roots.

- Allow the plant to complete dry, a process that may take three to seven days.

- Put the plant somewhere dry and bright, but not in direct sunlight.

Once the plant has dried, replant it in a well-draining soil mix. Don’t water immediately! Give it about a week before you add some water to the pot. (And this time, be a bit more sparing in your watering!)
